On Tuesday, Gosnell struck a deal with the Philadelphia District Attorney to avoid the death penalty by giving up his right to appeal, reports The Grio.
Gosnell was found guilty on three of four counts of first-degree murder involving the deaths of four babies.
A gag order was set in place two months when the trail started. The gag order will be lifted when the proceedings end.
Gosnell is said to have trained his staff to cut the necks and spinal cords of the living babies. One woman died after receiving a lethal dose of pain killers during an abortion procedure.
