Dick Gregory did an interview about a week after Malcolm Shabazz’s death. During that interview with We All Be, the interviewer says he received an email from Malcolm Shabazz allegedly saying the FBI told him to say he started the fire that killed his grandmother, Betty Shabazz. He says he was told if he didn’t comply he would spend a lifetime in jail. In the interview, Dick Gregory says he believes the FBI had Malcolm Shabazz under mind control and killed him.
During another interview from a few months ago Dick Gregory said he believed the fire that killed Betty Shabazz was set up by the Gov’t.
On March 25, 2013, Malcolm Shabazz’s email to We All Be allegedly addresses Dick’s statement:
Brother Dick Gregory is on point. The only error is that is was Yonkers and not Mt. Vernon.
Well, I never really speak to people outside of select family, but when it first happened I was in the hospital and so the detectives first came to see me and asked me what happened. Mind you, I’m 12 years old. I told them the truth and they told me to not say that. Then they made me write a statement, but told me what to say happened. My lawyer Percy Sulton, who we know to be CIA, told me to never tell truth or I’ll spend the rest of my life in prison, which was probably true…
I don’t know how Dick Gregory knows about the hooded men or what not.
Then I was sent to a program way in the middle of no where in Massachusetts where they would make me say I did all this sh*t I did not do. They told me if I did not own up to my actions I would not get out.
…I’ve been saying it for so long, shit, that’s what it is. I have some very powerful enemies, but I’m still here, though.
Malcolm Shabazz served four years in detention for starting the fire that killed Betty Shabazz.
In February, Malcolm was arrested by the FBI while on his way to Iran. In March, Malcolm released a statement that gave details of alleged harassment he received from the FBI.
Malcolm was murdered in Mexico on May 9, 2013.
