Chicago Police Forced Man Into Drug Sting By Using Gun To Sodomize Him

jailChicago police officers allegedly sodomized a man with a gun until he agreed to cooperate in a police sting.

Angel Perez is suing Chicago police and it’s officer Jorge L. Lopez in Federal Court. Perez says he was working as a delivery driver on October 20, 2012 when police in an unmarked car pulled him over, handcuffed him and took him to the Harrison Street Police Station. Police began questioning Perez about robberies and drug dealers. Perez said he didn’t know anything.

The police released him, but called him back in the next day. They told him he needed to sign some papers to prevent his car from being towed. When Perez arrived, his head was slammed against the car door and he was arrested again.

At the police station, Perez wore ankle shackles and was handcuffed to a bar. Six officers told him they would plant drugs on him and send him to jail to be raped by an inmate if he didn’t cooperate. The officers wanted Perez to help them set up a man named “Dwayne”. Perez refused to help.

When Lopez and the Sergeant were alone in the room with him, Lopez allegedly said, “I hear that a big black nigger dick feels like a gun up your ass.” They allegedly sodomized him with a gun while laughing hysterically. Perez eventually agreed to help. Perez called “Dwayne” to buy heroin. Perez bought the heroin with a GPS and recording device on him.

Even after his cooperation the police wanted him to do more, but he refused. Officer Lopez allegedly continued to call him Perez and he contacted the Independent Police Review Authority.

Perez and his lawyers are now seeking punitive damages for “excessive force, failure to intervene and emotional distress,” the Courthouse News Service reports. Perez was never charged with a crime.
